Understanding the experience of providing and receiving the Age UK Later Life Service. A multiple qualitative case study.

Aims: To understand how and why the Age UK Later Life services influence the end of life experiences of older people.
Objectives:
a. To explore whether older people have been enabled by the Age UK Later Life service to experience a quality of life towards the end of life which they are satisfied with.
b. To understand how, why and whether older people’s end of life experience has been influenced by the Age UK Later Life service.
c. To explore how, why and whether the Age UK Later Life service has enhanced the experience of carers of older people towards the end of life.
d. To understand how, why and whether the Age UK Later Life service affects older peoples’ and their family carers experience of care and support towards the end of life.
e. To explore the perspectives of professional stakeholders on how, why and whether the Age UK Later Life service influences the end of life experiences of older people.
