The 6th Lancaster Postgraduate Science & Technology Studies (STS) conference brought together postgraduate students from the North West of England which research focuses on diverse aspects of STS research. My presentation - "Valuation assemblages within informal markets in the global south: The case of urban piracy in Recife, Brazil." - explored how valuation of music media is performed within informal markets in Recife, Brazil. This event served to gather feedback for my next presentation on the same subject - 6th Latin American and European Meeting on Organization Studies - being held in Chile on April 2016.
