Management Education and Learning Writers Workshop

I attended this two-part professional development workshop (PDW) designed to provide tips on publishing in scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) journals and support authors in the preparation of their manuscripts. In Part I, open to all attendees, a panel of journal editors and associate editors from Academy of Management Learning & Education, Harvard Business Publishing, Journal of Management Education, Management Learning, and Organizational Management Journal will provide manuscript development advice and answer questions about publishing in their respective journals. Part II is restricted to pre- registrants, authors who have submitted SoTL manuscripts on which they want detailed developmental feedback. As an author, I met in pre- assigned pairs for in-depth discussions with experienced reviewers (including current and former journal editors and associate editors). The reviewers assembled for Part II represent a variety of countries, institutions, journals, and research areas.
