Art Director and Composer Marc C. Junker discussed scoring video game soundtracks and film!

A close friend and collaborator of Dr. Kwasu David Tembo, Marc C. Junker takes the time to talk about music, genre, form, and technology.

Marc, a Music Composer/Producer currently based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, works on all sorts of interesting projects with lovely people.

He composes music for films and video games and release experimental music under the alias “R23X.” His work has been featured on Bandcamp Daily, Kotaku, Vimeo Staff Pick, in The Guardian, and in The Chicago Reader.

He also co-runs Yetee Records, based in Chicago, IL, and spends his time mastering, designing, concocting various Video Game Music releases on vinyl, CD, and cassette tape. He also serves as an in-house composer at Cloudrise Pictures Ltd. where he has worked closely with his good friend Denver Jackson on his animated film projects for the past 10 years.
