Chasing the Sun
Since the dawn of time humans have worshipped the sun and feared the dark. Biologically manifesting this cultural belief, from our sleep cycles to our immune systems and our mental health, sufficient access to sunlight is seen as crucial for living a happy and healthy life. Linda Geddes and Nick Dunn explore how the natural cycles of light and dark shape our bodies and minds, and ask whether we should challenge the negative association with darkness to explore its rich potential for our senses.
