I served as a facilitator for the Lancaster District Climate and Nature Strategy Community Conversations, an initiative by Lancaster City Council to develop a vision for a vibrant, climate-resilient district. During these discussions, I guided community members through envisioning their lives in 2040, focusing on climate adaptation in town centres, interactions with nature, sustainable living solutions, future food systems, transportation, and health impacts. Participants were encouraged to share ideas and collaborate on defining the steps needed by the local community to achieve this vision, with food and refreshments provided to foster an inviting atmosphere. This included 3 community conversations in Lancaster city centre, Morecambe and Lancaster Morecambe Collage, and Caton.
