Co-chair of the Montreal Protocol Environmental Effects Assessment Panel

The Environmental Effects Assessment Panel is formally constituted under the Montreal Protocol to provide all Parties to the Protocol with up-to-date assessments of the effects of stratospheric ozone depletion and increased solar UV radiation on the environment. As co-chair, I lead the production of the quadrennial reports and attend the annual meetings of the parties to present current findings to representatives of the Parties, that is all 196 nation states recognised by the UN.
