I will be participating in a panel on "Engagement-led research" chaired by Professor Charlotte Baker and including also Professor Leon Cruickshank and Claire Hardaker (11.45-13.00) at the FHASS Research Culture Day.

Event Description
FHASS is home to a thriving research culture on a wide range of themes and topics. The FHASS research Culture Day is an opportunity for colleagues to come together to showcase our key research strengths and funding successes, and to think together how we respond to future opportunities to further cement our reputation for cutting edge and impactful research in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
It brings together external speakers including representatives from ESRC, AHRC and British Academy and offers opportunities for dialogue and networking for colleagues at all career stages, to foster and develop new research opportunities. The day will include sessions looking at topics such as: securing your first grant and looking beyond large grants; contribution of SHAPE to discussions on issues like Health, Artificial Intelligence or Place-Based Inequalities; Engagement-led research; Peace studies in a world of disorder; and a plenary discussion looking a big ideas for FHASS research culture, synergies and opportunities
Colleagues at all career stages from PhD candidates to Professors are invited to participate in the Celebration which will take place 10am-5.30pm, 25 June 2025.
