Screening of Wajib (Annemarie Jacir, 2017) A bittersweet drama set in the vibrant city of Nazareth. This entertaining and poignant film, by Palestinian writer-director Annemarie Jacir, explores the intersection of traditionalism and modernity. It will be accompanied by a talk entitled 'Cinema of a Stateless Nation' by Lancaster University lecturer Dr. Maryam Ghorbankarimi.
