The British Council funded workshop on “Sustainable Biodiesel Production of Biodiesel” brought together researchers from academia and industry, and provided a forum for discussion on challenges and benefits, exchanged ideas and experiences and explored future collaborations.

The workshop showcased invited talks by leading researchers who provided insight into emerging technologies and discussed novel solutions to the critical obstacles for biofuels production. The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for early career researchers to obtain a foundation in the field and/to update their knowledge on the latest technology and approaches for biofuels production. The workshop also included a poster session for early-career researchers. Prizes were awarded for the best and runner up posters, selected by a judging panel, on the 25th April 2019.
