On the basis of my article 'Reclaiming the peacebuilding agenda - economic and social rights as a legal framework for building positive peace : a human security plus approach to peace-building' forthcoming in Human Rights Law Review 2016, I was asked to speak at the regional working group on linking human rights, peace and security in preparation for the UN General Assembly High Level Debate on International Peace and Security. This working group will produce a briefing paper for direct input into this debate. It will also suggest operational paragraphs for the new General Assembly Resolution on the Review of the UN Peacebuilding Architecture.
