Paper entitled 'On museum curatorship and narrating object biographies'

This workshop looks again at ideas of origins and relationality in different media. By bringing practitioners and analysts of different creative forms into dialogue with one another, it aims to unpick some of the tacit decisions and practices that underpin their craft. Our interest is twofold: first, to parse ideas of meaning-making across diverse but related media, and, second, to explore whether making tacit practices explicit might open up new ways of envisioning collaborative creation as a model for broader social cooperation. If we can better understand how and where the creative process happens, can we also begin to imagine how creative work could be differently employed?
