Brigit Morris Colton - Organiser
29/06/2012
I organised a video-conference workshop for postgraduate students with Suzanne Fraser (associate professor in the Centre for Women’s Studies and Gender Research, School of Political and Social Inquiry, Faculty of Arts at Monash University, Melbourne) and kylie valentine (Senior Research Fellow at the Social Policy Research Centre, University of New South Wales, Sydney). With Celia Roberts (Co-Director of CGWS, Lancaster University) I scheduled the programme, booked rooms and video-conference technology and support at both participating institutions, selected preparatory readings and organised a preparatory workshop. I was also responsible for the publicity and participant recruitment and coordination.
The session was very well attended, and received great feedback from participants.
