ACS Malaysia Chapter with Sunway Material Smart Sciences and Engineer Cluster, as well as Future Cities Research Institute (Sustainable Cities Theme), Sunway University and Lancaster University will organize a panel discussion entitled “Single Use Plastics: The Way Forward”.

The current challenges we face in tackling plastic pollution cannot be answered by a single discipline.

In this panel discussion, the challenges of plastic pollution will be examined from several different perspectives: environmental science (explores microplastics, material composition and environmental impacts), psychology (explores the human behaviour, i.e. the translation of knowledge and awareness into practice), social science (explores the post-consumption, i.e. the possibilities for organizing discarded plastics). The panel will examine how and why these different perspectives are relevant to us, how we can leverage the knowledge and research to our advantage, and what we can do to improve this global plastic crisis for developing sustainable cities.

Join us in this exciting Earth Day discussion by registering here: https://bit.ly/22WAYFWD

Certificates will be awarded to all participants. There are vouchers for the lucky participants too!
