Activity: Public engagement and outreachFestival/Exhibition

Dr Hannah Newton - Organiser

The Beauty in Science exhibition aims to show the intriguing, beautiful and surprising aspects of science research at Lancaster University. Images, time-lapse photography, model animations and videos will help convey the beauty and scope of science research undertaken here. The exhibition will run from 20th September - 12th October 2013 in the Main Gallery in The Storey in Lancaster city centre.
During the exhibition there will be a free programme of engaging short talks by accomplished speakers covering everything from modelling a heartbeat to tracking down where the rain goes.
