Invited online lecture delivered to students at University of Tokyo. The lecture discusses representations of migrants and post-migrants in contemporary Japanese theatre through the works of Japanese playwright and director Kamisato Yudai who was born in Peru and now based in Tokyo. Drawing on European post-migrant theatre and Azuma Hiroki’s Philosophy of Tourist, the lecture situates the topic of migration/post-migration between theatre practice and theory. The lecture was delivered in Japanese.
