Myself and Gemma Chaters set up a stand in the learning for life tent at this year’s Westmorland show on the 12th and 13th September. Supported by CHICAS, weshared their current research with the public, as well bringing a table full of giant fluffy disease microbes, and infection-based games to help raise awareness of infectious disease threats. The show attracted more than 37,000 visitors over the two days, and the stand was busy and very well received.
