Dr Deborah Sutton and Dr James Taylor were both successful in the British Academy Small Grants Scheme for 2007. Deborah was awarded £2,805 for her research on 'Colonial Antiquity in British India: Archaeology, Artefacts and Landscapes'. James received £4,931 for his project, 'Paradise of Knaves? Commercial Fraud in Britain, 1825-1914'.
