The Centre for Law and Society is pleased to announce two forthcoming conferences, sponsored by the Centre. On 7th-8th November 2008 "From the Utoptianism of Human Rights to the Primacy of the Political" will be held at Lancaster University. On 11th November "The Pinochet Case and its Consequences Ten Years On" will be held at the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies in London.
