John Welshman will be giving a paper 'Evacuation, Memory, and the Second World War', at the History Faculty, University of Oxford, 15 May 2009. The paper is part of a symposium 'Occupational Diversity: Medicine, Sickness & Gender in Historical Perspective', being held to mark the work of Margaret Pelling, University Reader in the History of Medicine.
