History postgraduate student Kasper Evers awarded the Joseph Hertford Sutton Prize

The Department of History is pleased to announce that postgraduate student Kasper Evers has been awarded the Joseph Hertford Sutton Prize for 2008-09.

This prize was first awarded in 1994 and was founded as a result of a bequest from the estate of the late Mr Sutton, a former Lancaster headmaster and himself a student of history, and is awarded to the student with the best master's degree result in taught master's courses administered by the department.
