The interim report of the evaluation of the national Peer Support Programme for the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) is now published online at: http://www.cwdcouncil.org.uk/social-work/peer-support. Follow this link to find out further details about this CWDC national initiative.
The report provides early findings from the Peer Support Programme undertaken by a team of researchers in the Department of Applied Social Science (ASSURE with CWRU), highlighting both the potential of peer support to enable children's services manages to pool resources and share expertise, but also obstacles to engagement due the workforce pressures.
