New 'maternal studies' journal launch

Dr Imogen Tyler is on the editorial board of a new interdisciplinary ejournal Studies in the Maternal which will be launched this month. This is the first journal dedicated to`maternal studies' in the UK, and forms part of an emergent European network for research in this area (within which Lancaster plays a central role): MaMSIE, Mapping Maternal Subjectivities, Identities and Ethics. The first issue of Studies in the Maternal includes essays by Griselda Pollock, Rachel Thomson, Gail Lewis andLynne Segal.
