Description

This archive aims at documenting the data made available within the framework of the projects: ‘Evaluating the impact of the New Deal for Communities on Health Inequalities’ funded by the Department of Health (Grant number Reference No: PR-IP-0509-0180063) and a linked National Institute for Health Research (Public Health Research Programme) funded study: Community engagement approaches to improve health and reduce health inequalities (Reference No: 09/3008). We aimed to provide a data archive making available programming codes and project data for other users in order that the results published in the project’s report in the future can be replicated. This legacy will allow longer-term follow-up of the impact of the NDC on health inequalities and their social determinants, as well as comparison of health and social outcomes in NDC and similarly deprived areas. Please refer to NDC legacy manual contained in this dataset for further instructions. The views and opinions expressed therein are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the [name programme], NIHR, NHS or the Department of Health.
