Research overview

I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2008 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from Electric and Electronic Engineering Department at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., in 2016.

From 2009 to 2012, I was a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University at Qatar. From 2015, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with PEDEC group at the University of Strathclyde for two years. I joined Lancaster University as a Lecturer in Electrical Engieering in 2017. My research interests include dc-dc converters, multi-level converters, electric machines, digital control of power electronic systems, energy conversion, renewable energy, and power quality
