Research overview

My research is focused on the development of advanced semiconductor structures for unique photodetectors. A current aim of these photodetectors is to provide a miniaturised, solid-state spectroscopy solution that could be integrated into consumer electronics. The development includes design, modelling and fabrication of novel structures. This research utilises state of the art epitaxy facilities and employs innovative growth techniques to create complex structures.
