Profile

Andy has degrees in Applied Psychology and Behavioural Science and a PhD in Strategic Management from Cranfield University, School of Management.

Prior to joining Lancaster, Andy was a Senior Research Fellow in the Strategic Management Group, Cranfield School of Management.  There, his research focused on the nature of strategy development; organisational change; and processes of increasing individual effectiveness in strategy formulation.  His research activities included a major research project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council into the links between strategy development and organisational context both in the public and private sectors.  He has written a number of papers in the area of strategy process.  Through both his research and consultancy, Andy has worked closely with senior managers and board members both in the public and private sectors.
