Current Research

My research involves understanding soil surface change processes, with emphasis on soil erosion. I use field measurements of active processes using close-range photogrammetry and structure-from-motion algorithms for facilitating 3D surface generation from aerial and terrestrial images.

Research overview

Research Interests:

  • Spatio-temporal high-resolution topography (Structure-from-Motion, remote time-lapse imaging)
  • UAV photogrammetry
  • Erosion processes in agricultural and fragile landscapes (soil erosion, sediment connectivity)

Thesis Title

USE OF GROUND AND AIR-BASED PHOTOGRAMMETRY FOR SOIL EROSION ASSESSMENT
