Research overview

Clare’s research background spans a broad range of biological sciences themes, including animal biology, ecology and microbial molecular biology. Most recently she has been working for the Eden Demonstration Test Catchment (EdenDTC) project, part of a Defra funded research platform, the aim of which is to assess if it is possible to cost effectively mitigate diffuse pollution from agriculture whilst maintaining agricultural productivity. The DTC consortioum includes similar projects in the Hampshire Avon and the River Wensum.
