Research overview

The principle aims of the project I am currently working on are to characterise the major modes of variability in the External and Induced Magnetic Field (EIMF) as measured at the surface of the Earth, and to understand how an improved specification of the EIMF impacts upon the accuracy of geomagnetic field models. The intention is to produce a high order model of the geomagnetic field over a complete solar cycle, using data from the SUPERMAG network
