Gerald Ward is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Accounting at Lancaster University. He joined Lancaster in 2020 after completing a PhD at the University of Maryland. Gerald has research interests in empirical financial accounting and corporate finance. Gerald has taught courses on initial public offerings, managerial accounting, and accounting research. Before joining academia, he worked for an investment bank in the corporate finance team.
