I lead the Learning Development team and coordinate our provision across the University. I am also a member of the internal coaching bank.

The Learning Development team offer a range of opportunities for students at all levels to develop their own study practices and skills through embedded teaching sessions in collaboration with academic staff, bespoke workshops, one-to-one tutorials, drop-ins, mentoring schemes and interactive online resources. Our specialist areas are academic reading and writing, English for academic purposes, and maths and statistics. We also advise on preparing for assessment and managing effective study. We employ over 100 students in our range of academic peer mentoring schemes.
