Research overview

Kate is an ecosystem ecologist who investigates how soil microbes respond to climate change and how this microbial response impacts soil nutrients, plant communities and atmospheric gas concentrations. More about her research can be found on her website.

Kate is currently working on the U-GRASS project, which aims to understand how soil microbes maintain soil function under the pressure of climate change and different land management regimes.
