Research Interests

My PhD involves a detailed study of the social processes surrounding the drafting and implementation of a strategic document for Slovenian language policy. I mainly use qualitative textual analysis to look at a broad range of genres (from policy documents to blogs), which I combine with open research interviews and observation.

Other research interests: Historical and critical sociolinguistics, with a particular focus on the role of linguists in the development of the Slovene language in the 19th and 20th Centuries.
