My PhD research focuses on writing and interaction processes during collaborative writing of L2 learners in a computer-mediated context (GoogleDocs).

In my research I aim to explore (1) collaborative writing processes of L2 learners working on collaborative writing tasks in GoogleDocs and (2) the interaction taking place between peers and its relationship with both the writing process and the quality of the written output. By adopting a mixed-methods approach using data visualisation, screenrecordings, eye-tracking and stimulated recall I intend to investigate both the cognitive as well as the social dimension of collaborative writing tasks in language learning contexts.
