Research overview

Lee is a Researcher of Politics and International Relations, having completed his ESRC-funded PhD at Lancaster University in May, 2018.

Lee's doctoral thesis focused upon the development of the European Union's Common Security and Defence Policy, through a Realist-Constructivist framework of analysis. 

His current research interests include the external relations of the European Union, UK-EU Security Relations, Neoclassical Realism and Strategic Culture.

Lee is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2017 and has been an Associate Lectuer in the Department of Politics, Philsoophy and Relgiion at Lancaster University since 2015.
