Research Interests
I have a particular interest in the relationship between academic study and work based learning in order to support entry to and progression within professional employment. Our work here at CETAD includes the development of undergraduate and postgraduate employability skills to support labour market entrants; inter-professional learning for experienced practitioners to enhance and maintain professionalism; and partnership working with groups of employers in order to support practitioner professional development.

Employer Engagement
Without exception all of the programmes I work on have been designed and developed in conjunction with employers and government bodies in order to support work within the National Health Service, social care, children's services and more recently biomedical and life science sectors.
