Research overview

During my academic path, my attention has always been directed to the business law, with a specific focus on the insolvency law area. Therefore, after obtaining a degree in law, during the 2017-2018 academic year I attended an LL.M Master on the Italian insolvency procedures at La Sapienza University of Rome.

In 2019, my passion for these arguments has pushed me to improve my international knowledge: I attended another LLM at Lancaster University in 'International Business and Corporate Law'.

The stimulus I received by the Master experience convinced me to undertake further investigations which has led to achieve a PhD place, always at Lancaster University. The research I am carrying on concerns international aspects and my project is entitled  “Restructuring Directive 2019/1023: implication for member states”.

I believe that my research might be relevant since the transposition of the principles contemplated into the mentioned Directive will characterise the future insolvency framework of the national jurisdiction of the EU Member States.
