Research overview

My main research interest is space-science - the study of the plasma environment of the Earth, the solar wind, and the wider solar system.  This concerns the various energetic particles (electrons and ions) that populate the magnetospheres of solar-system planets, including the Earth.  One current focus is the dynamics of electrons in the Earth's outer radiation belts.
