Research overview

The overarching aim of my research is the understanding and reduction of mental distress. To do this my research brings together co-creation and implementation research. I work with those intended to benefit and those asked to offer services throughout the research process from conception to impact and evaluation. Ongoing research includes:

  • How do evidence based digital technologies fit with existing services – are they useful and sustainable.
  • Understanding the influence of experiences of psychosis on personal and shared goals
  • Promoting employees mental wellbeing and working with long-term health conditions
  • Addressing core needs, including sleep and physical wellbeing, within mental health services
