My PhD in creative writing is comprised of a poetry collection exploring history, archives, unusual perspectives, family, northerness and the stories that we tell ourselves. My PhD is under the supervision of Professor Paul Farley.

Outside of my PhD I also write SFF novels, am a member of the Board of Directors for Lancaster Litfest and work at a variety of part time jobs.

I also work as an associate lecturer within the department and teach on the Part I creative writing module CREW103.
