Research overview

I’m a mathematician interested in blue-skies pure mathematics, as well as in developing mathematical frameworks that respond to the needs of real-world scenarios (environmental science, engineering). Click here for a short video overview of my current pure mathematics research interests (recorded for MSRI, Berkeley, California), which lie at the interface of probability, combinatorics, and mathematical physics. My pure mathematics research is currently funded by grants from EPSRC (New Horizons), Leverhulme Trust, and the British Council. I’m also Head of EDI for Mathematics and Statistics at Lancaster. Talk to me about any concerns you may have or ideas for how to make our environment more inclusive.
