Formerly at Lancaster University
At present, my research focuses on the aspects of teaching human anatomy to medical students. I also have a particular interest in the development of formal and informal learning spaces, and students’ approaches to studying anatomy and how this influences their visual-spatial ability in curricula with and without cadaveric dissections. As a biomedical scientist, my knowledge of clinical anatomy and regenerative medicine has resulted in publications on the engineering of alternative skin for the treatment of partial and full-thickness burns.
