Research Interests

My PhD topic focuses on post adoption contact and social media. It focuses on how English Law can regulate in this field of child law. I have previously completed my Undergraduate Bachelors Honours Degree in Law at Edge Hill University in 2016. I also completed my LLM Research Masters Degree at Edge Hill University in 2017. My LLM Research Masters Degree thesis focused on adoption in English and Welsh Law and, on International Childrens Law in applying the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child 1989 (UNCRC 1989). It also, focused on the differences between the English and Welsh Law to the interpertation of the UNCRC 1989 in the English and Welsh legal system.

Additional Information

In March 2017 I presented my LLM Research Masters work and, findings at a Postgraduate Conference at Edge Hill University which was titled  Impact: Conform or Transform. My work  was titled ' Virtual Contact As Post Adoption Contact, and the Best Interest of the Child'. At the conference I presented my work in the form of a poster and answered questions from researchers, professors and attendees at the conference relating to my work.

Qualifications

Undergraduate Honours Bachelors LLB Degree in Law 2.1 at Edge Hill University 2016.

Postgraduate LLM Research Masters Degree in Law 2017/18 (Passed with a First) at Edge Hill University.
