Profile

My PhD examines how individual-level motivational characteristic of chief executive officers (CEOs), as well as firm-level entrepreneurial activities impact the outcomes of small and medium-sized enterprise in the UK. I have experience in business engagement activities as well as organising international workshop and conference. I hold an MSc in International Marketing Management from the Robert Gordon University, UK. Before my academic career, I have ten years’ experience in the manufacturing sector in Guangdong China. My industry experience has allowed me to bridge academic literature with industry practices in supporting the learning of my students.

My current research interests include innovation and entrepreneurship within the context of SMEs. I am interested in the factors, such as the individual, team, firm, or policy factor, that contribute to the growth and innovation of SMEs.
