I am currently researching Intimate Partner Abuse (IPA) within British military families. This research seeks to explore the impact of IPA on the families of British Service personnel and to identify the factors unique to British military families that may increase the risk of experiencing IPA. The MODs responce to IPA within the military community will be highlighted by discussing the welfare provisions availiable to military families and the help seeking behaviours of military families expereiencing IPA will be explored.
