Research overview

My research focuses on understanding how societal and digital inequalities impact practices of individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. I explore this in two contexts. One is studying the relationship of intersecting inequalities and income-generation work of individuals within less privileged communities. The other strand of my work focuses on socio-digital disadvantage within (higher) management education. I explore how inequalities influence pedagogical practices, and the way students and academics respond to related issues. In this theme, I am also interested in researching on the relationship of societal and digital inequalities, hidden curriculum and widening participation agenda within business schools.
