Profile

Vikas Raman is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Finance at Lancaster University. Prior to joining Lancaster in 2018, he was an Assistant Professor in the Finance Group at the Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. Vikas’ research interests span different aspects of market microstructure, especially market design & regulation, limit order strategies, and high frequency trading. He has received research grants from the National Stock Exchange (India), INQUIRE (UK), and the Commodity and Futures Trading Commission (USA), and his papers have been presented in leading conferences such as the annual meetings of the Western Finance Association (WFA), the American Economic Association (AEA), and the European Finance Association (EFA).
