My current research concentrates on the effects of firms' non-compliance behaviour on their financial reporting quality under the US's regulatory background.

I am also interested in:

- the interactions among internal control objectives, i.e. compliance,financial reporting and operations

- the issues on corporate governance mechanism

- the political and economical reform of SOEs and the governance mechanics of family firms in China
