Battlegrounds of Memory and Justice

Project: Funded ProjectResearch

This interdisciplinary project studies the memorialisation of past conflicts and the use or misuse of those memories in the political and social arenas. Special attention is paid to the relationship between memory and justice, and the role played by collective and individual memories in addressing or redressing crimes against humanity and human rights issues.
